Teaching staff, researchers, postgraduate students and students can now utilize the Yewno Discover platform available from the UniPi library. Yewno Discover is a search service in international scientific databases, which creatively utilizes research interests.

A delegation from the Professional Chamber of Athens led by the President Mr. Yannis Hatzitheodosiou and the First Vice President Nikos Grendzelos visited the University of Piraeus and handed over sanitary material for preventive use against the coronavirus to the Rector of the University of Piraeus Professor Angelos Kotios on Thursday, June 25th.

On Monday, January 20th, 2020, in the Conference Hall of the University of Piraeus, the awarding ceremony of the Certificates of the Institution's Internal Quality Assurance System, as well as the Undergraduate Study Programs of the Department of Business Administration and the Department of Industrial Management and Technology, was held by the Hellenic Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency (HQA).
The Rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Angelos Kotios, thanked all those who worked and continue to work conscientiously for the improvement of the University.
The President of HQA, Professor Pantelis Kyprianos in his speech expressed his joy for the cooperation and the two-way process of exchange of views that brings about the improvement of the indicators and makes the University of Piraeus a beakon for the diffusion of innovative ideas and practices through its developed strategic planning for the future .
