The research activities of the University and the new technological challenges in the field of Digital Health were analyzed at the 3rd Maritime Health Conference - "Health 2020: On the threshold of a decade of development" by Elias Maglogiannis, Professor and Director of the Computational Biomedicine Laboratory in the Department of Digital Systems University of Piraeus.

The International Conference on "Diplomacy and Literature" organized by the Department of International and European Studies of the School of Economics, Business and International Studies of the University of Piraeus opened in the crowded Foyer of the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus.

At the Eugenides Foundation in Athens, on Wednesday June 5th, the rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Angelos Kotios, attended the Greek Shipping Summit: "2020: The wind of Change in Global Shipping" as part of the Sea Days event.

On Monday, November 20, 2023, the University of Piraeus organized a full-day conference at the ATHENAEUM INTERCONTINENTAL Hotel on the topic "The Demographic Problem and the Aging Population in Greece".

On Wednesday and Thursday 6 - 7 December 2023, at Zappeio Megaro, within the 10th Athens International Tourism & Culture Expo, the Department of Tourism Studies of the University of Piraeus, the Laboratory of Tourism Excellence and the organizing company of the Leaderexpo exhibition, supported by the Special Account for Research Funds of the University of Piraeus, co-organized a two-day scientific conference on "The next day for tourism businesses and destinations in an environment of uncertainty".

In the framework of the implementation of the "Accessible EU Resource Center" project, which is a flagship initiative of the European Commission's Strategy for the rights of Persons with Disabilities 2021-2030, in collaboration with the National Confederation of Persons with Disabilities (EU. S.A.meA) and the European Network for Accessible Tourism (ENAT), a hybrid event was organized today at the "Titania" Hotel, in which the Vice-Rector of Finance, Planning and Developmentof the University of Piraeus, Professor Stella Sofianopoulou, participated with her speech.

At the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, the University of Piraeus, Department of International and European Studies welcomed the new students of the PMS, "American Studies: Politics, Strategy and Economics", presenting the main educational axes of the Master's Program as well as the strategy of the Council on International Relations in Greece (CfIR-GR).
