A very interesting Conference was held by the University of Piraeus in collaboration with the Center for Renewable Sources and Energy Saving (CRES) in the Melina Merkouri Hall of the Peace and Friendship Stadium, on the subject of Energy Decarbonisation and Renewable energy sources.
Ilias Maglogiannis, Professor and Head of the Dept. of Digital Systems in the University of Piraeus and Director of the Computational Biomedicine Laboratory, presented the live webinar “Advanced telehealth services in the new era” on Thursday October 8 as part of the IEEE Day celebrations.
The study carried out by the Athens Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the University of Piraeus, "The effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the business continuity and resilience of Small and Medium Enterprises: the critical role of technology" was presented at the of Peace and Friendship Stadium in Neo Faliro.

The Laboratory of Strategic Communication and Media, of the Department of International and European Studies of the School of Economics, Business and International Studies of the University of Piraeus organized the 8th Scientific Conference entitled "The Image of Greece in the aftermath of the crisis" New challenges / Innovative solutions on Tuesday 19 November in the conference room of the university, coordinated by Athanasios Samaras, Assistant Professor of the department.
The financing opportunities for entrepreneurship, in the context of dealing with the consequences of the pandemic, but also the overall development environment, already shaped by the "Green Deal " of the EU and for Greece, highlighted the University of Piraeus and the European Information Center of Piraeus and the Attica Islands, through an online Conference, with the title "Cohesion Panorama: Financing entrepreneurship during the Pandemic and the Green Deal" under the auspices of the Attica Region and with the support of the Attica Regional Development Fund.
The Conference took place within the framework of a three-day visit of a multi-member official German delegation to Piraeus, organized in collaboration with the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, under the auspices of the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy and with the support of the Ministries of Development & Investments and Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy of Greece.
