In the framework of the Pan-Hellenic Environmental Campaign Let's do it!, the University of Piraeus with its voluntary group "Kerykes" and the Municipality of Nikaia - Ag. I. Rentis organized the reconstruction of the Park of Pontiac Hellenism May 19, 1919, which is located at the entrance of the Katrakeio Theatre, adjacent to the Themistokleian University Complex.

Three years after the death of the late Ioannis Angelikousis, the Rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Michael Sfakianakis, the Dean of the Department of Shipping and Industry, Professor Angelos Pantouvakis, and the President of the Department of Maritime Studies, Professor Yiannis Theotokas, presented the diploma of the Honorary Doctorate Degree of the Department of Maritime Studies, to his daughter Maria and his wife Liz Angelicousis.

The "Career Days 2024" event was completed with great success at the Themistoklian Complex of Nikaia of the University of Piraeus, on March 11th and 12th. Four hundred and twenty two (422) seniors, graduates and post-graduate students, had the opportunity to conduct multiple interviews in the same place, with 120 of the country's largest companies and institutions.
