The University of Piraeus signed a memorandum of cooperation with Innjobs.net, the specialized electronic human resources platform for employers and employees in the hotel and tourism sector. The purpose of the collaboration is the partnership of the public and private sectors with tangible results for the students and graduates of the University.
As stated by Professor Angelos Kotios, Rector of the University of Piraeus "Within the context of connecting the graduates of the University of Piraeus with the job market of hotels and tourism, we entered into a cooperation agreement for an innovative method of promoting graduates of our University into the work market”.
Argyris Daouliaris, founder of Innjobs, noted "With this collaboration, we expect to offer significant access opportunities to the hotel and tourism industry job market for Piraeus University graduates. We believe that our cooperation will create multiple and mutual benefits, in line with our mission as Innjobs: to give a new dynamic to the Tourism industry, with hotels that will be staffed by competent and equipped with appropriate knowledge and skills professionals, that will allow them to meet the modern requirements of a constantly evolving industry with the ultimate goal of upgrading the quality of the country's tourism product."
