In the context of the "SEA DAYS 2019" Initiative of the Municipality of Piraeus, on Saturday 4th May the informative day "Operation of Waterdromes and Business Prospects for Piraeus and the Argosaronic Sea" was organized in the auditorium of the University of Piraeus.
The day was addressed by the President of the Piraeus Chamber of Tradesmen, Ioannis Voutsinas, the Mayor of Piraeus, Ioannis Moralis.
The Rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Mr. Angelos Kotios, also addressed a greeting, while Dimitris Syxeris, Member of the Board of the Professional Chamber of Piraeus, announced the beginning of the works.
A presentation on the Seaplane Market and the Operation of Waterdromes was made by the Professor of Transport Economics of the University of Piraeus, Evangelos Sambrakos.
A presentation on the leveraging of private investments on the occasion of the operation of Waterdromes was made by the Scientific Advisor of the Piraeus Chamber of Tradesmen Dr. Emmanuel Nikolaidis. This was followed by Mr. Dimitris Syxeris on the subject of the development of the island regions of the wider Piraeus area.
The presentations were closed by Anastasios Govas, member of the Board of Directors of "Hellenic Waterways SA", referring to the operation of the Waterdromes in practice.
An open discussion followed with Market and Local Government Agencies.
