In a festive ceremony, on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Themistokleion Complex of the University of Piraeus, the Rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Michael E. Sfakianakis, awarded the Olympic Athletes of the National Men's Polo Team, students and graduates of the University of Piraeus.

In his address, the Rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Michael E. Sfakianakis, congratulated the athletes for their excellent performances, but primarily for the high morals they demonstrated throughout their athletic journey, culminating in the distribution of a sizable part of their prize from the acquisition of the silver Olympic medal, to those people affected by the devastating fires of Evia. As teachers, we are proud that in our University family, we have these brilliant examples of students and alumni that are a motivation and a source of inspiration for all of us!
