The Vice-Rector for Research and Lifelong Education of the University of Piraeus, Professor Grigorios Chondrokoukis, as a representative of the Rector, Professor Angelos Kotios, and the President of the National Central Health Procurement Authority, Mr. Aris Apostolou, accompanied by the Vice-President, Mr. Konstantinos Galanakis, signed a Cooperation Protocol.

The Memorandum of Cooperation takes into account the development visions of the National Central Health Procurement Authority and the University of Piraeus, and aims to strengthen research and development, educational support and the improvement of the position of both entities at the Greek and European level. The two parties agreed that in the next period actions will be developed in the above fields, while the main core will be the exchange of ideas and knowledge on activities related to the administration and finances of the Health Procurement area, with the aim of jointly identifying areas of cooperation.
Based on the cooperation for the development of educational actions, an effort will be made for joint planning for the preparation of a plan or proposals for educational actions aimed at the training and lifelong learning of the employees of the National Central Health Procurement Authority and the organizations it supports, as well as the implementation. In addition, the implementation of a plan for the development of Internship in the services of EKAPY in the subjects of the educational fields of the University of Piraeus was discussed.
