The first event of the University of Piraeus and ALLILON, on the occasion of the recent signing of a cooperation protocol between them, took place on November 28th, 2019 at the Conference Hall of the University of Piraeus.
The opening was addressed by Professor Michalis Sfakianakis Dean of the School of Economics, Business and International Studies.
In the first section, on "The economic policy of exiting the crisis and the role of Economic Diplomacy" and coordinated by Spyros Roukanas Assistant Professor of University of Piraeus, Angelos Kotios Rector of the University of Piraeus, Angelos Pagratis Coordinator with the rank of Director General at EEAS, responsible for Economic Diplomacy, Ioannis Voutsinas, President of the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce, Panagiotis Liargovas, Scientific Director of KEPE and Victoria Pekka Oikonomou, Professor of the Department of Organization and Business Administration, University of Piraeus.
In the second session on "Greek Entrepreneurship as a central pillar of development" moderated by Ioanna Kokore, Assistant Professor at the University of Piraeus, Thanasis Papapanagiotou, President and CEO of DROMEAS, Stavros Damianidis, CEO of LDK Consultants, Haris Aslanidis spoke , Owner of the Digital Marketing Agency, Greek Geeks and Ioanna Kokore, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, University of Piraeus.
This was followed by a speed mentoring session, where the students had the opportunity to get to know ALLILON's actions better and to connect with its mentors inside and outside the University of Piraeus.
ALLILONnet is the Greek solidarity network, aimed mainly to young people, for studies, professional inclusion, career, entrepreneurship and innovation. It was founded in 2012 in Athens as an urban non-profit company and manages, at the beginning of 2018, a network of almost 8,000 members, in over 80 countries, with a significant presence in social networks.
The central goal is to create an easy-to-use, efficient and continuously improved framework to facilitate communication, networking, exchange of useful information, ideas, guidance and advice, development of partnerships and general solidarity in matters of study, career and entrepreneurship, wherever there are Greeks.
