Efthymios Tsatsaris started developing e Thesis in 2020, as his thesis of, at the University of Piraeus and with the valuable help of Assistant Professor Evangelos Sakkopoulos, in the Department of Informatics of the University of Piraeus - Personalized Software Technology, a platform was created, which connected the needs of professors and students in a comprehensive digital map of the creation of a thesis.
The platform supports the entire research lifecycle, enabling topic selection, real-time collaboration and efficient workflow management using tools like TurnItIn and artificial intelligence. It also connects researchers with start-ups and companies, leveraging artificial intelligence to match qualified candidates with industry needs. eThesis bridges academia and business, simplifying the research process and enhancing professional networking and collaboration.
In September 2023, Efthymios Tsatsaris participated with eThesis in the 1st Entrepreneurship and Development Competition of the University of Piraeus, where he received valuable guidance and mentoring from Professor Simos Retalis of the Department of Digital Systems of the University of Piraeus in the field of Technologically Supported Learning Design Models and the entire Competition team.
In October 2023, it started the pilot programs in collaboration with professors and students from the Universities of Piraeus and Athens Economics and in December 2023, the eThesis team collaborated with AHEDD (a digital innovation hub supported by the National Centre for scientific Research "Democritos").
