On Monday, January 20th, 2020, in the Conference Hall of the University of Piraeus, the awarding ceremony of the Certificates of the Institution's Internal Quality Assurance System, as well as the Undergraduate Study Programs of the Department of Business Administration and the Department of Industrial Management and Technology, was held by the Hellenic Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency (HQA).
The Rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Angelos Kotios, thanked all those who worked and continue to work conscientiously for the improvement of the University.
The President of HQA, Professor Pantelis Kyprianos in his speech expressed his joy for the cooperation and the two-way process of exchange of views that brings about the improvement of the indicators and makes the University of Piraeus a beakon for the diffusion of innovative ideas and practices through its developed strategic planning for the future .
The Certificates were awarded by the President of HQA, Professor Pantelis Kyprianos and the Vice Presidents Professors Vassilis Tsiantos and Georgios Zalidis in the presence of the Director General of ADIP Dr. Christina Besta. The opening address was delivered by the Vice Rector for Administrative, Academic and Student Affairs and President of the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) of the University of Piraeus Professor Pantelis Pantelidis, who characterized the certification with the highest assessment (full compliance) of the University of Piraeus as the culmination of the efforts of the entire university community. Professor Pantelidis pointed out that the formation of a culture of quality is what ultimately ensures the prestige of the Public University.
