During the organization of the two-day honorary event of the Municipality of Piraeus, in the Amphitheater of the Rallion Gymnasium-Lyceium forGirls, for the students of the high schools of the city who succeeded in their admission to higher education this year, the Mayor Yiannis Moralis awarded the Rector of the University of Piraeus Angelo Kotios, for his contribution to Higher Education and to the city of Piraeus.
The Municipality of Piraeus proceeded to award the Rector of the University of Piraeus, Professor Angelos Kotios, as a reward for his passion for the University, for the high level of training he aims for and the connection between the University and the Municipality and the city's agencies. The Mayor Yiannis Moralis underlined the implementation of synergies between the Municipal Authority and the University, "since with partnerships we can achieve the best possible results for society and the city".
The Deputy Mayor of Education and Lifelong Learning, Ms. Aspasia Aligizaki, referring to the award given to the Rector of the University of Piraeus, Angelos Kotios, emphasized that he is a man who puts into practice "aien aristevein" (always excel) and stated that she feels lucky to have been his student.
