Extroversion and international orientation are a strategic choice for the University of Piraeus. The promotion of inter-university collaborations, through International Cooperation Agreements with distinguished universities abroad, is always at the top of the priorities of the rector's authorities, with a firm aim at developing programs and research collaborations both for the benefit of the academic community and students, who are given the opportunity to become extroverted, innovative with the latest knowledge and tools available internationally, so that they can successfully respond to future challenges.

In this context, a delegation from our University traveled to the United States of America, making site visits to George Washington University, Washington, Drexel University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and University of Richmond, Richmond, Virginia. The aim was to explore and launch agreements of mutual academic interest, which provide added value to the University of Piraeus and strengthen its international profile and build relationships of trust that will create opportunities and motives for cooperation in the immediate future.
