A five-year memorandum of cooperation was signed by EY Greece and the Master's Program "Accounting & Control of Businesses and Public Organizations" of the Department of Organization and Business Administration, School of Economics, Business and International Studies, University of Piraeus. With this particular collaboration, EY Greece and the University of Piraeus certify their decision to collaborate and coordinate their action in areas of common interest.
The cooperation memorandum foresees, among other things, the development and implementation of joint actions in the fields of accounting and finance, both academically and at the work level, the advisory support from EY Greece for the correct implementation of business models, the coverage of EY consultants for the needs that will arise from the joint development and development of topics, and providing the PMS students with the opportunity to practice at EY Greece and participate in the company's seminars and training programs.
In addition, EY Greece, following the recommendation of the University of Piraeus, will provide scholarships to students, for the preparation of research masters, doctoral and post-doctoral theses with related accounting and financial subjects.
The expected benefits from this collaboration are reflected in four levels: the direct contact of the students with the labour market, the possibility of gaining work experience in the subject of their studies, the further education of the students and the production of research work in the subject of their studies , and the scientific training of the people of EY Greece, through the required academic expertise in the field of interest of the Master’s Program.
