The Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) of the University of Piraeus was evaluated by the Hellenic Authority for Higher Education (HAHE) and received the highest level of compliance in all individual quality criteria.

Our annual "Career Days" were concluded with great success at the Themistoklian Complex of Nikaia of the University of Piraeus on April 10th & 11th. Four hundred and thirty eight (438) seniors, graduates and postgraduate students had the opportunity to conduct multiple interviews in the same venue, with one hundred and fifty three (153) of the largest companies and organizations in the country.

The rector of our University, Professor Michael Sfakianakis, and Professor Petros Maravelakis accompanied sixty postgraduate students from the Department of Business Administration to Miami Florida, conducting on-site visits to the Florida International University and the University of Miami.

The Volunteer Group of the University of Piraeus “Kerykes” and the Volunteer Action Group “u can Come too” joined forces again and completed the Easter Love action for the children of the Social Care Unit “Agios Andreas”, on Tuesday, April 15th, distributing clothes, toys, Easter eggs, cookies and buns.

For the World Stray Animals Day and the Panhellenic School Animal Welfare Day (April 4th), the University of Piraeus organized the Workshop, "Information and awareness about animals", welcoming for the first time in its Conference Amphitheatre academics, administrators and students with their four-legged companions.
