In the framework of the Pan-Hellenic Environmental Campaign Let's do it!, the University of Piraeus with its voluntary group "Kerykes" and the Municipality of Nikaia - Ag. I. Rentis organized the reconstruction of the Park of Pontiac Hellenism May 19, 1919, which is located at the entrance of the Katrakeio Theatre, adjacent to the Themistokleian University Complex.

With 150 plants of rosebushes, tulbachias, lantanas and cannas, that absorb pollutants and oleanders, donated by the Agricultural University of Athens, the small park blossomed again. The Municipal Department of Parks added horticultural land, improved the composition of the soil, installed an irrigation network and shaped the area with a rock garden and the construction of a white pebble walkway.
